About Palpa District


      Nepal, the landlocked country which is located between two big neighbouring countries INDIA and CHINA is a beautiful country.Nepal is on the lap of himalayas.It has basically three regions;Himalayan,Hilly and Terai region. Nepal has so many natural sceneries such as lofty peaks, rivers,waterfalls,lakes and many more for tourist attractions.The country has great diversity in culture,trations,costumes,language,religion and so on.It has 14 zones and 75 districts. Among 75 districts Palpa District is one of the most beautiful area of Nepal situated in the Lumbini Zone of Western Development region placed in a hilly region. Palpa district has so many villages.Tansen which is also recognized as DARJEELING OF NEPAL  is the headquarter of Palpa district. This is the place mostly inhabited by Magars.Even the government has declared it as the MAGRAT RAJYA of the country
